My name is Shannon Tabaldo and I am Director of Digital Innovation and Development and the Technology Integration Specialist Certificate Program Coordinator for the School of Education at Loyola Marymount University. I am the former Director of Educational Technology at Marymount College in Rancho Palos Verdes California. I have been a specialized classroom teacher, teaching technology to K – 8 and junior high math.
After graduating with my Master of Arts on Catholic School Administration, I began to see the need for technology education resources in education. I started PriorityTech Consulting, LLC. to fulfill the need of training educators on technology that can be used in their classroom for the benefit of the students. Teaching is my vocation and I believe that using my knowledge and skills of computer software, service and support, I can aid in the education of not just my students but anyone who wants to learn.
I started this blog site so I could have a place where I can refer back to for my own interest as well as refer my colleagues for teaching resources and perhaps a bit of my opinion on topics related to educational technology. Sometimes I have read interesting articles and want to post some thoughts on them as well as get others thinking about the topic.
